Work you'll do
As a Senior Product Specialist on the GPS FinOps (Financial Operations) team, you will be responsible for:
- Translating finance strategy and business requirements into system enhancements and communicating requirements to technology teams for development
- Managing the finance systems portfolio, including backlog prioritization, program increment execution, governance tracking, risk escalation, and PMO oversight
- Leading user acceptance testing, release readiness, hypercare activities, and defect resolution for finance system enhancements and deployments
- Monitoring system operations, data integrity, and alignment between finance systems and the general ledger across manual and automated processes
- Evaluating system integrations, identifying process improvements, assessing design alternatives, and leading analysts in the US and India supporting finance-led systems
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
- Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
- Ability to lead projects or workstreams

Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in finance systems, financial operations, product management, portfolio management, or business systems support
- 3+ years of project management experience managing cross-functional or cross-departmental teams on complex projects
- 3+ years of hand on DelTek experience
- 3+ years of experience with finance systems and processes, including SAP Primed, CP3 Pricing, Beacon, or other finance applications
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or another business or technical field
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or another business or technical field
- Experience working in a professional services environment
- Experience managing finance system enhancements, deployments, or upgrades
- Experience coordinating user acceptance testing, change management activities, or post-production support
- Experience working with business, finance, and technology stakeholders in a matrixed organization
- Experience supporting issue escalation, governance routines, or portfolio reporting for system initiatives
