Business Analyst – SAP BRIM (Scrum)

Role: Business Analyst

Project Environment:

SAP BRIM (Subscription Billing, Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing), agile implementation based on Scrum.

Main Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

- Conducting workshops, interviews and process analyses with business departments

- Detailed gathering of requirements in the context of billing processes

Documentation & Backlog Management

- Creation of clear, testable user stories including acceptance criteria in the product backlog (experience with Jira is mandatory)

- Creation of functional specifications and data flow descriptions

- Maintenance and prioritization of the backlog in close collaboration with the Product Owner

Agile Collaboration

- Active participation in Scrum events (refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)

- Close collaboration with developers, testers and architects

- Supporting the Product Owner in business decisions and sprint goals

Process & Solution Design

- Modeling end-to-end processes in an existing BRIM environment

- Translating business requirements into functional designs

- Ensuring consistency between business processes and system solutions

Quality Assurance & Testing

- Acceptance of test cases based on previously defined acceptance criteria (test cases are created and executed by a separate team)

- Ensuring that delivered functions meet the defined requirements

Skills & Competencies

- Knowledge of SAP-based billing processes, ideally in the SAP BRIM environment

- Experience in agile projects using Scrum, ideally as an active member of a Scrum team
