For our client, an international company establishing a new Shared Service Center in Serbia, Workforce is currently building a team of professionals for several positions within the finance function. This is a new, international SSC organization that will support the company's global functions and consolidate finance processes for multiple business units across the region. Work is organized under a hybrid model, combining office-based work with the flexibility of working from home. Job description:

The Global Business Services Process & Transition Expert will play a key role in discovering, transitioning, and improving financial processes as new entities are integrated into the Global Business Services (GBS) organization. The role will focus on AP, AR, and GL processes, ensuring smooth transitions, process standardization, continuous improvement, and effective collaboration between local finance teams and the GBS center.

• Lead process discovery activities and document existing AP, AR, and GL processes during entity transitions

• Develop and execute transition plans for migrating finance processes into the GBS center

• Coordinate knowledge transfer, training activities, and hypercare support during transition phases

• Act as the main point of contact between local finance teams and GBS during process migrations

• Identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization, automation, and efficiency enhancement

• Support the implementation of best practices and ensure compliance with defined processes and service standards

• Define, monitor, and report on KPIs related to AP, AR, and GL processes

• Analyze process performance and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with stakeholders across different locations and support the successful integration of new entities into the GBS model

• Participate in change management activities and support the adoption of new processes and ways of working

Work Experience and skills

• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a shared services environment, with exposure to AP, AR, and GL processes

• Hands-on experience in finance process transitions, migrations, or the implementation of shared service models

• Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify improvements and drive standardization

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems

• Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are considered an advantage

• Experience in the manufacturing industry is considered an advantage
