Job Overview
The Business Analyst will be responsible for discovering, analyzing, designing, and implementing integrations based on Enterprise Integration Patterns between multiple systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and communication. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, critical thinker, and collaborative professional who can work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct requirement discovery sessions with customers and stakeholders.
- Analyze existing systems to identify integration points, gaps, dependencies, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define integration requirements, including data mapping, workflows, and API specifications.
- Design and develop integration architectures following industry best practices and standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration specifications, test plans, and user guides.
- Perform integration testing and troubleshoot issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies related to integration development.
- Ensure integrations are designed to meet business and technical requirements while optimizing costs.
- Support project delivery by ensuring integration projects are completed on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
- 4+ years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns.
- Experience with integration technologies, including REST APIs, XML, JSON, and API design.
- Understanding of programming languages used within commercial integration platforms.
- Knowledge of integration design, development, and implementation practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP integrations.
- Experience with one or more Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
- Experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing environments.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (typically less than 10%).
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
