Product Owner

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Product Owner to join our growing product team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, software engineers, UX designers, QA teams, and customers to define product requirements, prioritize the product backlog, and deliver high-quality software solutions using Agile methodologies. This role is ideal for candidates with 0–5 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or Agile Product Ownership who are passionate about delivering products that solve real-world business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Define and communicate product vision, goals, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on customer value and business priorities.
• Write detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with software development, QA, UX/UI, and DevOps teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Backlog Grooming, and Retrospectives.
• Clarify product requirements and provide continuous guidance to development teams.
• Validate completed features through User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Monitor sprint progress and remove blockers in collaboration with Scrum Masters and stakeholders.
• Analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitor products to recommend product enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 0–5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Associate Product Manager, or similar role.
• Basic understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing business needs and manage multiple tasks.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I) certification.
• Experience with SaaS, Cloud, FinTech, Healthcare, Retail, or Enterprise software products.
• Knowledge of SQL for basic data analysis.
• Familiarity with API concepts, REST services, and system integrations.
• Experience with UX/UI collaboration and design thinking principles.
• Understanding of product analytics and customer journey mapping.
