Job Title: Business Analyst (hybrid- onsite Monday- Thursday

Location: US-GA-Atlanta (Sandy Springs)

FLSA : Exempt

Job Overview :

For the Business Analyst role, the candidate will identify and communicate with business teams to formulate and produce requirements specification to create process or report/systems based on those requirements. This includes interfacing with different organizations affected by the project including project stakeholders, consultants/vendors, and sponsors .

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the business, pull them in and build and analyze, ask the right questions to determine if there is a value to be had.
  • Document detailed business requirements including technical specifications for any (BRDs—Soft skills collaborative negotiation Flexible business partner --)given assignment. Candidate should author user stories and process flow as needed.
  • Works dynamically with multiple stakeholders (internally and externally) to coordinate and gather requirements for reporting or project related tasks. Candidate should drive tasks to closure.
  • May be responsible for business relationship management and influencing business partner requests and decisions through strong negotiation skills and provide valued managerial expertise that support established standards (e.g., process, development, quality).
  • Actively participate in business reviews to ensure compatibility with systems and feasibility overall.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle including Agile development
  • Experience in prioritizing and tracking tasks, status updates, etc. (Partner with PM Team)
  • Analyze complex business requirements and existing business processes in fast paced environment
  • Work closely with external and internal clients to gather requirements, prepare requirement documents and specifications
  • Work with development team to break down requirements to user stories/technical specifications
  • Experience working on multiple projects, partnering with multiple cross-functional teams
  • Strong analysis, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience with SQL queries and understanding on data structures is highly desired
  • Participate in design, brainstorm whiteboarding session
  • Analyze and make recommendations on improving existing business processes as needed.
  • Document detailed business requirements including technical specifications for any given assignment.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to document existing workflow processes
  • May be responsible for business relationship management and influencing business partner requests and decisions through strong negotiation skills and provide valued managerial expertise that support established standards (e.g., process, development, quality).
  • Actively participate in business reviews to ensure compatibility with systems and feasibility overall.
  • Analyze and make recommendations on improving existing business processes as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 ( 7-10)+ years’ work experience in a Business Analyst role
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis and documentation.
  • Experience working with SCRUM / Agile development teams is a plus
  • Domain experience in claims, cancellation, payment is a plus
  • Be a self-starter.
  • Driven and go getter attitude.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
