What you need to know

Our client is seeking a Sales & Commercial Analyst to join their team as an integral part of the Sales function.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of commercial data and sales insights, working closely with teams across Sales, Scheduling, Procurement, Operations, and Finance. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you’ll support business decisions by analysing performance, pricing, margins, and market trends to help drive commercial success.

This role offers 2 days WFH after 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and commercial performance metrics.
• Analyse sales, margins, and market trends to support profitable business decisions.
• Manage and update customer and product pricing information.
• Coordinate sales forecasting, maintain data accuracy, and support product allocation decisions.
• Provide cost, margin, profitability analysis, and market insights to support commercial opportunities.

Requirements:

• Strong commercial awareness with excellent analytical skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience working with commercial data.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate information.
• Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar environment is desirable; ERP or BI system experience is advantageous.
