IT Business Analyst (Village Roadshow Operations Greece)
Village Roadshow (member of Antenna Group) is a leading entertainment brand, best known for its cinemas, delivering an unparalleled movie-going experience to over 3 million viewers annually.
As we continue to expand our reach and enhance our services, We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Business Analyst to join our team. This role combines strong technical expertise with business acumen, requiring someone who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, designing scalable solutions, and leading development initiatives from concept to deployment
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into system specifications and support solution architecture design
- Support the development, integration, and implementation of IT systems (ticketing platforms, ERP, CRM, loyalty systems, APIs)
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure accurate solution delivery
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
- Design, develop, and implement advanced reporting and dashboards using Power BI (or similar BI tools)
- Perform database modifications, schema design, and data mapping between systems
- Support system integration efforts (REST APIs, web services, middleware) and data migration activities
- Define and execute test cases (UAT, SIT), validate data integrity, and troubleshoot system issues
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose technical improvements
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across systems
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst in complex systems environments
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL (query optimization, joins, indexing, stored procedures)
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration techniques
- Experience with system integrations (APIs, JSON/XML, web services)
- Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., MS SQL Server)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
