Business Analyst - Banking Sector

We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Business Analyst to join our team on behalf of one of our major clients in the banking sector.

In this role, you will work closely with business and technology teams to understand business needs, analyze requirements, and support the successful delivery of business and digital transformation initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring that business objectives are effectively translated into practical solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements from project initiation through delivery.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to understand business needs and define functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and project documentation.
• Prepare and maintain business and functional documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario preparation, execution support, and defect tracking.
• Support the analysis and improvement of business processes and workflows.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure business requirements are accurately understood and implemented.
• Participate in project planning, implementation, and delivery activities
• Communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the banking or financial services sector preferably with hands-on experience delivering Digital Channels projects (web banking, mobile banking, internet banking, or other similar digital banking platforms).
• Experience eliciting, gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements through close collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Experience translating business requirements into clear functional specifications and supporting technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Experience preparing business and functional documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Experience supporting or coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
