The Legal & Integrity Process Architect is responsible for analyzing, managing, and continuously improving legal workflows through technology and process optimization. Acting as a bridge between Legal and IT, this role drives end-to-end process efficiency, digital transformation, and sustainable adoption across the legal function.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Process Management & Strategy
- Own and manage end-to-end legal business processes on behalf of Legal leadership
- Define and implement the vision for legal workflow solutions
- Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and optimization opportunities
- Redesign workflows prior to automation, ensuring alignment with business needs
- Develop process documentation and continuous improvement roadmaps
- Technology & Solution Design
- Translate legal requirements into scalable, structured system solutions
- Configure and optimize tools supporting automated workflows
- Act as the interface between Legal stakeholders and IT teams
- Support integration of legal processes into technical architectures
- Ensure solutions remain sustainable and adaptable over time
- Change Management & Adoption
- Encourage user adoption of new systems and processes
- Deliver training and ongoing support to legal teams
- Act as a key contact for process and application-related queries
- Manage stakeholder engagement and alignment
- Promote a customer-focused mindset across Legal
- Continuous Improvement
- Regularly review and enhance legal workflows and systems
- Monitor performance, KPIs, and ROI of legal technology investments
- Manage and oversee process optimization initiatives
- Ensure long-term value realization from implemented solutions
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Promote collaboration across Legal and business functions
- Build effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Provide guidance and mentoring on process and technology adoption
- Support development of process-driven teams
- Assess organizational effectiveness and capability needs
- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to ABB’s Code of Conduct and policies
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements
- Promote ethical behavior and integrity across teams
- Ensure alignment with internal standards and governance frameworks
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Information Technology, Business Process Management, Law or a related field (legal background is not required)
- 5+ years’ experience in digital transformation, process optimization, or technology-driven operations
- Proven experience working with enterprise technology platforms (e.g. CLM systems, workflow tools, automation solutions)
- Strong track record in implementing and optimizing technology solutions to improve business processes and efficiency
- Experience leading end-to-end digital initiatives, from requirements gathering through to implementation and adoption
- Solid understanding of process design, automation, and system integration within complex organizational environments
- Experience driving change management, user adoption, and stakeholder engagement in technology-driven environments
- Project management certification (e.g. PMP, Six Sigma) or equivalent experience is a plus
