Associate Product Manager

Mahwah, NJ (onsite)

The Retailer Tools Specialist will play a critical role in empowering Volvo market managers, dealers, and internal field teams by streamlining the delivery of field reports and business insights. This position is designed to ensure that market managers receive timely, relevant, and easy-to-understand information that enables them to make informed decisions and maximize their performance across all key areas of Volvo business including aftersales, sales, marketing, digital, finance, and other business areas

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and synthesize data from various business areas (aftersales, sales, marketing, digital, finance, ).
  • Design, develop, and maintain retailer tools and reporting formats that deliver actionable insights in a clean, simplified, and user-friendly manner.
  • Work closely with market managers to understand their information needs and continuously improve the tools and reports based on feedback.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and relevance in all field reports and dashboards.
  • Train and support dealers and field teams in utilizing retailer tools effectively to drive business performance.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to reduce manual reporting and enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to keep Volvo’s retailer tools at the forefront of innovation.

  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and relevance in all field reports and dashboards.
  • Train and support dealers and field teams in utilizing retailer tools effectively to drive business performance.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to reduce manual reporting and enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to keep Volvo’s retailer tools at the forefront of innovation.
  • Establish and maintain documentation for retailer tools, ensuring clear instructions and guidelines are available for end users.
  • Facilitate workshops, webinars, and training sessions to enhance adoption and understanding of retailer tools across dealer and field teams.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to tool usage and report effectiveness, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with IT and system support teams to troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate technical issues related to retailer tool platforms.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of retailer tool functionality and relevance, recommending enhancements or retirements as necessary.
  • Support the onboarding process for new dealers and field team members, ensuring they have access to and understand available tools and resources.
  • Gather feedback from users to inform future development and customization of retailer tools and reporting solutions.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience in retail operations, field team support, or business analytics preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in data visualization tools and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable formats.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments.

Salary Range

  • $93,482 to $154,044

Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, location and company guidelines
