About the Opportunity:
An established enterprise technology organization is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join its Product organization. This individual will play a key role in supporting the continued evolution of a sophisticated enterprise software platform serving clients in a highly regulated industry.
This position works closely with Product Management, Software Engineering, QA, and client stakeholders to gather requirements, support Agile software delivery, and help drive new platform capabilities from concept through implementation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining business analysis, product collaboration, and technical delivery within a modern Agile environment.
What You'll Tackle:
- Partner with Product Managers to define product requirements and feature enhancements.
- Facilitate discovery sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
- Support Agile software development teams throughout the SDLC.
- Collaborate on API-driven software initiatives and system integrations.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Work directly with enterprise clients to understand workflows and business objectives.
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release activities.
- Track project risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
- Help define product KPIs and success metrics.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst experience.
- Experience supporting Agile software development teams.
- Experience writing user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience working closely with software engineering teams.
- Jira (or similar Agile project management tools).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience supporting API-based applications and integrations.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced software delivery environments.
Nice to Have:
- Experience supporting enterprise software platforms.
- Experience within financial services, investment technology, wealth management, asset management, or other regulated industries.
- Experience with BDD / Gherkin.
- Exposure to AI-enabled software products or intelligent automation initiatives.
- Experience supporting modern Product organizations.
