Financial Systems Analyst

As an early-stage member of the FP&A Center of Excellence, the Business Analyst helps with data consistency, analytical rigor, and decision support to deliver timely, actionable insights.
Essential Functions:
Systems, Data & Analytics Adoption
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across financial systems.
- Document business processes, data flows, system configurations, and user procedures.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and improved system utilization.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards, data models, and analytics solutions to support decision-making across the organization.
- Support and enhance financial reporting, planning and consolidations processes/systems.
- Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close support activities, ensuring system stability and timely issue resolution.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Finance/Accounting stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data governance, master data quality, and reporting standardization.
- Support training, change management, and adoption of standard Finance/Accounting processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting or Financial Systems.
- Hands-on experience with:
- SAP SAC-P (planning models, data actions, stories)
- SAP Group Reporting (configuration / data collection / translation / elimination / reporting )
- Power BI (data modeling, DAX, report development)
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, FP&A processes and financial data structures.
- Experience supporting FP&A Centers of Excellence or shared services models.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
