Business System Analyst

Our client, a rapidly growing fintech company, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to partner with Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Technology to drive business-critical initiatives. This is a highly visible role where you'll lead requirements gathering from discovery through delivery, working directly with stakeholders to define solutions that improve business operations and customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end business requirements gathering for enterprise-level initiatives across multiple business units.
• Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders to translate high-level business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner closely with engineering teams throughout the SDLC to ensure requirements are complete, accurate, and ready for development.
• Analyze business processes, identify opportunities for operational improvements, and recommend scalable technology solutions.
• Manage competing priorities across multiple projects while driving alignment among business and technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product, Project Management, Engineering, UX, and Data teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Utilize AI tools to improve documentation, requirements development, and process efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• Demonstrated experience owning end-to-end requirements gathering, from ambiguous business requests through implementation.
• Experience facilitating requirements sessions across multiple stakeholders and enterprise-level projects.
• Strong experience writing user stories, functional requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Confluence, Jira, or similar project management tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred

• Experience within fintech, financial services, investment platforms, or cryptocurrency.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, and business intelligence/reporting tools.
• CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or similar certifications are a plus.
