We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by gathering, analyzing, and translating requirements into clear functional specifications. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the end-to-end software development lifecycle, creating process flows and wireframes, and ensuring solutions align with HR, time and attendance, and payroll business processes. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong analytical skills, experience working in Agile environments, and a passion for delivering high-quality, user-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Elicitation & Documentation: Gather, analyze, and translate complex business workflows—specifically regarding HR management, time & attendance, and payroll processing— into detailed technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Visual Mockups & Wireframing: Create and maintain clear user journey maps, system integration workflows, and basic user interface layouts/wireframes using collaboration tools like Figma and FigJam to align with Product Owner and developers.
- Agile Lifecycle Support: Facilitate and support Scrum/Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, requirement reviews, and demos). Maintain tool organization within Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the core bridge of communication between software engineering, QA, product management, and external stakeholders to clarify complex logic and resolve requirement blockers.
- Functional Testing & Compliance: Assist the QA team with requirement traceability, validate that delivered features match statutory HR/Payroll regulations and business specifications, and support overall delivery standards.
Qualifications:
- Domain Expertise: Proven experience working as a Business Analyst on enterprise HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems), Payroll systems, or integrated Time & Attendance platforms.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of localized payroll computations, tax structures, and statutory government contributions/deductions.
- Agile Tools: Highly proficient in managing backlogs, sprint boards, and documentation using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Prototyping & Mapping: Hands-on experience or a strong baseline capability utilizing Figma or FigJam to quickly map out complex data workflows and build clean UI/UX mockups.
- Technical Communication: Excellent documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to easily explain technical workflows to business stakeholders and vice versa.
- Core Apps: Strong proficiency across Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
