Senior Business Systems Analyst | Zurich | Hybrid (Permanent)
Trust in SODA is partnering with an established financial-services firm in Zurich to hire a Senior Business Systems Analyst.
This position sits between business and technology, with responsibility for supporting critical applications, understanding business requirements and delivering effective system and process improvements.
You’ll work with stakeholders across technology, operations and corporate functions while coordinating with external vendors and service providers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and improving business-critical applications
- Gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements
- Translating requirements into practical technology solutions
- Investigating system issues and coordinating their resolution
- Managing incidents, defects and stakeholder communications
- Coordinating testing, UAT, releases and application upgrades
- Working with external technology providers
- Supporting users with system-related queries and guidance
- Maintaining procedures, documentation and control records
- Contributing to audit, resilience and risk-management activities
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in business analysis, application management or production support
- A background within financial services or another regulated environment
- Experience supporting complex and integrated business applications
- Knowledge of testing, UAT, release and change processes
- Familiarity with ITIL and software delivery lifecycles
- Exposure to SQL and relational database concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Confident stakeholder and vendor-management skills
- The ability to work independently and take ownership
- Fluent English; German would be advantageous but is not essential
