Senior Business Analyst – SAP EAM / PM

📍 Hybrid Working (Approx. 40% Onsite)

Contract until 31 December 2026 (Extension Possible)

Are you an experienced Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in SAP EAM/PM and a passion for driving business transformation within complex enterprise environments? We are seeking a highly skilled professional to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, supporting the evolution of maintenance and asset management processes within an S/4HANA landscape.

The Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering maintenance and asset management solutions, working closely with business stakeholders, SAP specialists, and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support business analysts in capturing, structuring, and prioritising business requirements within maintenance and asset management domains.
  • Plan, facilitate, and contribute to requirements workshops with business stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into effective S/4HANA solutions, balancing standard SAP functionality against custom business needs.
  • Act as the interface between business teams and the IT BizDevOps organisation, ensuring requirements are technically feasible and clearly articulated.
  • Assist in the creation of functional and technical specifications.
  • Support test planning, test case creation, execution, and validation activities.
  • Provide expert guidance on SAP EAM best practices, standards, and solution options.
  • Identify and resolve fit-gap issues while ensuring alignment with business objectives and SAP standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

✅ Proven experience working with SAP PM and SSAM within maintenance environments.

✅ Strong understanding of:

  • Maintenance processes, including notification and work order management.
  • Asset Lifecycle Management, covering:
  • Asset capture
  • Commissioning
  • Operations & maintenance
  • Decommissioning

✅ Extensive experience in:

  • Requirements engineering and business analysis.
  • S/4HANA fit-gap analysis and solution design.
  • Integrating third-party systems via APIs.
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Working within complex enterprise IT landscapes.

✅ Professional background in:

  • Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

✅ Strong personal attributes:

  • Self-starter with a proactive and pragmatic approach.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive outcomes.
  • Proven project delivery experience.
  • Comfortable working within multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and end-to-end process thinking.

Desirable Experience

⭐ Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.

⭐ Language skills in English and/or French would be advantageous.
