Business Analyst Compliance (PEP)

Location: Zurich
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Until 30.09.2026 - with possibility of extension

Responsibilities

• Review of existing PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) process and definition of new process steps and controls
• Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and collaborate with stakeholders, including Compliance and Risk Management, to gather requirements for the PEP database
• Functional Requirements Documentation: Create detailed functional requirements documentation outlining how the solution will meet the business needs
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of internal and external regulatory requirements
• Data Integration Planning: Plan data integration of new data fields
• Design, develop and test reports and dashboards that meet business and regulatory requirements
• Test Case Development: Develop test cases to validate that the solution meets the business requirements and works as expected
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Collaborate with end-users to perform UAT and identify any defects or issues
• Change Management: Develop change management plans to minimize disruptions to business operations during implementation
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Senior Management; communicate development plans, timelines, and progress; manage stakeholder expectations and negotiate priorities as needed

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst (at least 2–3 years)
• Banking experience with a focus on Compliance / Risk Management - Knowledge of PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) databases
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English
