Senior Business Analyst – Healthcare Product

Location: Dallas, Fort, Worth Area hybrid role

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Product team and support the design and delivery of US Healthcare payer solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, QA, Operations, and clients to gather requirements, document business processes, and ensure successful delivery of product enhancements.

This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare workflows, the ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate business requirements into user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to refine and prioritize the product backlog.
• Conduct requirement workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
• Create functional specifications, business process flows, workflow diagrams, and data mapping documents.
• Work closely with Development and QA teams to clarify requirements and support implementation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate business scenarios, and assist with defect triage.
• Perform impact analysis for new features, enhancements, and production issues.
• Prepare release documentation and assist with product demonstrations when needed.
• Ensure complete traceability from business requirements through development and testing.

What We're Looking For

• Exposure to the US Healthcare, Health Insurance, or Healthcare IT domain is preferred.
• Familiarity with healthcare business processes is a plus.
• Can independently gather and analyze business requirements.
• Writes clear, concise, and testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Understands end-to-end healthcare payer workflows and can effectively communicate business needs to technical teams.
• Takes ownership of assigned features from requirement gathering through UAT and release.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new business domains and product functionality.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a Product Management environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Technical Skills

• Basic to intermediate SQL for data validation and analysis
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
• Understanding of data mapping and file integrations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 7+years of Business Analyst experience in software product development.

At least 4+ years of experience working with US Healthcare payer applications.
