The Opportunity:
As Senior Business Analyst, you will report to the Application Development Team Leader and be an important partner to the business. You will analyze needs of our stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, while recommending solutions and initiatives that allow the organization to achieve its strategic goals. You will serve as the liaison between the business and IT to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements to help us achieve our goals through internal changes. These changes will affect core organizational functions, including changes to policies, processes, and information systems.
The Day-to-Day:
- Act as Technical Product Owner for the Fisher Investments Document Generation system
- Manage the incoming request queue for document templates and consult directly with stakeholders on prioritization and delivery
- Evaluate document template requirements in close collaboration with the other ECM Business Analysts and Business Process Manager (BPM)
- Coordinate with the Onshore Vendor Lead to ensure document generation outputs meet strict quality and timing standards
- Oversee and execute scheduled system releases, deployments, and template configuration updates
- Perform electronic signature configurations (e.g., DocuSign) to properly align document workflows with corporate accounts
- Serve as the initial escalation point for operational incidents involving document or template errors, and properly route technical issues tied to API dependencies
- Identify opportunities to refine processes by recommending items for automation, re-structuring, or elimination
- Use design skills to define Technical Design Specifications for complex and high impact projects
- Create core analysis artifacts including user stories, acceptance criteria, flow charts, process flow diagrams, and use cases
- Provide strategic business recommendations based on critical analysis while maintaining high accuracy across multiple complex requests
- 5+ years as a Technical Business Analyst on Technology projects
- Strong quantitative and analytical thinking skills
- Expertise in gathering, analyzing, documenting, and prioritizing complex business and technical requirements
- Strong proficiency in creating current-state ("As-Is") and future-state ("To-Be") workflows, user stories, and use cases
- Proven experience managing end-to-end software rollouts and technical platform integrations
- Excellent customer service and oral/written communications skills
