About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and client-focused Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in both pre-sales and post-sales activities, working closely with clients, the sales team, project managers, and development teams to ensure successful project delivery and long-term client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales

  • Engage with prospective clients to understand business requirements and objectives.
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Analyze business needs and propose suitable technology solutions.
  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flow diagrams.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Technical teams to prepare proposals, solution documents, effort estimations, and Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Participate in client presentations, product demonstrations, and solution discussions.
  • Perform competitor analysis and market research to support business development initiatives.

Post-Sales

  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development and QA teams.
  • Support project planning, sprint grooming, backlog management, and requirement prioritization.
  • Validate delivered features through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure alignment with business expectations.
  • Manage change requests, scope enhancements, and requirement documentation.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve functional issues.
  • Conduct client training sessions, product walkthroughs, and knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure successful project delivery while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in requirement gathering and business analysis.
  • Experience in both Pre-Sales and Post-Sales client engagement.
  • Excellent documentation skills (BRD, FRD, SRS, User Stories, Use Cases, Wireframes, Process Flows).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Figma, Lucidchart, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including Sales, Development, QA, UI/UX, and Project Management.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, PMI-PBA) is an added advantage.
  • Experience working with web, mobile, SaaS, ERP, CRM, AI/ML, or enterprise software projects is preferred.
