What You Would Do:
- Own and improve our apps running on Kubernetes platform:
Standardize deployment patterns, configuration, and release strategies
Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of workloads running on k8s
- Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines in GitLab:
Continuously improve speed, reliability, and developer experience
- Set up and improve observability:
Help teams understand logs, metrics, and traces — turn data into decisions
Build early-warning detection frameworks and validation/simulation practices to surface failure modes before production
- Research & experiment:
POC and validate ideas before rolling them out to production
Bring proposals to the team, explain trade-offs and lead implementation
Apply new learning specifically to solve harder reliability/scalability/automation problems and show progress through delivered outcomes.
- Document and share knowledge:
Make sure others can understand, reproduce, and maintain what you build
Prevent long-term system “decay” by simplifying complex setups and institutionalizing sustainable best practices.
- Collaborate across teams:
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and prevention work
Align infrastructure decisions with product goals, cost efficiency, and deployment impact; proactively flag technical risks affecting availability/performance
You have
- Previous work experience as a DevOps Engineer (senior-level, owning and improving production systems)
- Extensive experience in AWS, Kubernetes and GitLab, understanding of CI/CD, logging and monitoring processes, including:
Designing, implementing, and maintaining GitLab pipelines for complex applications
Undeniable Linux Experience And Skills
Solid knowledge of web servers, networking basics, and bash scripting.
- Bonus points if you have experience with
PHP (Symfony framework)
Familiarity with some of: Message Brokers, logging and monitoring systems
- Fluent communication skills in English;
- Working knowledge of incorporating robust code security practices to safeguard the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of software systems including but not limited to OWASP secure coding guidelines;
- Effective collaboration skills, capable of working well in a team environment that values security and quality
- Strong documentation mindset - you naturally document architecture, decisions, and procedures so others can follow and maintain them

- The salary range for this position is 3300- 7000 euros/monthly gross. The salary proposal depends on your competencies and seniority level
