The Role

• Architect and scale intelligent observability patterns across a leading automotive industry technology provider.

• Develop AI-driven detection and response systems to surface problems before they become outages.

• Build, curate, and champion effective patterns for observability adoption with engineering teams.

• Establish spec-driven standards for operations and observability.

• Reimagine incident detection, triage, and response at scale using cutting-edge technology.

• Experiment with new approaches to observability, monitoring, and alerting.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise observability and ITIL tooling such as CloudWatch, New Relic, SolarWinds, Splunk, PagerDuty, and ServiceNow ITOM.

• Professional experience writing synthetic tests in Python, Ruby, or JavaScript.

• Deep observability experience including instrumentation, metrics, logs, traces, and alerting at scale.

• Experience building internal platforms, developer tools, or automation that scales.

• Systems thinking mindset with experience in distributed systems and understanding of failure modes.
