About Hyperithm

Hyperithm is a leading digital asset trading firm based in Korea and Japan. We advise the Hyperithm Arbitrage Fund SP, a Cayman Islands fund pursuing market-neutral arbitrage strategies across spot, perpetual futures, and various markets. We are building out institutional-grade fund operations and expanding our regulated footprint across jurisdictions.

The Role

We are looking for a Fund Operations Specialist to execute and support the full operational lifecycle of our fund business. As a member of the Business Development (BD) team, you will manage fund back-office and middle-office operations, handle relationships with external service providers, and support the establishment and licensing of investment management entities in overseas jurisdictions. You will work closely with trading, sales, finance, legal and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end fund operations: NAV calculation and review, subscription/redemption processing, investor reporting, and fund accounting oversight
  • Manage external service providers including fund administrator, auditor, legal counsel, and banking partners
  • Support the establishment, licensing, and regulatory filing of investment management entities in overseas jurisdictions (e.g., Cayman Islands, BVI, Hong Kong, Singapore)
  • Monitor regulatory developments across relevant jurisdictions and assess their impact on fund structure and operations
  • Build and improve operational controls, workflows, and documentation to institutional standards
  • Support fundraising operations including investor onboarding, KYC/AML coordination, and due diligence responses as part of the BD team

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in fund operations at a global asset management firm
  • Hands-on experience establishing and registering a licensed investment manager in an overseas jurisdiction at a global asset management firm
  • Working knowledge of regulatory environments across major fund jurisdictions (e.g., Cayman Islands, BVI, Hong Kong, Singapore)
  • Professional fluency in English (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with offshore hedge fund structures (e.g., Cayman SPC, master-feeder)
  • Experience with fund tokenization initiatives (e.g., tokenized fund launches, digital securities, or related regulatory and operational workstreams)
  • Exposure to digital asset markets or willingness to develop deep expertise in crypto trading operations
  • Experience managing external service provider relationships directly
