Job DescriptionAs a National Account Manager – The Home Depot for our Moen brand, you will nurture and strengthen Moen's strategic partnership with The Home Depot, supporting sales growth, category performance, merchandising initiatives, and customer engagement. Working closely with customer stakeholders, outside sales teams, and cross-functional partners, you'll help execute account strategies, identify growth opportunities, and deliver programs that support both customer and business objectives.
In this collaborative, customer-focused role, you'll partner with internal teams and customers to support growth initiatives, share market insights, and coordinate programs that enhance the visibility and success of Moen products. You'll also contribute valuable perspective on customer needs, category performance, and competitive activity, helping teams work together to continuously improve the customer experience and strengthen Moen's position within one of our largest retail partners.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, translating data into business opportunities, and collaborating across teams to support retail growth. You'll combine business acumen, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to help deliver exceptional customer experiences while supporting profitable growth for both Moen and The Home Depot.

POSITION LOCATION: This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement based in Atlanta, GA, supporting our strategic partnership with The Home Depot. Candidates should reside in the greater Atlanta area to effectively collaborate with customer stakeholders and internal teams.
This role requires approximately 10–15% travel for candidates based in the Atlanta area. Remote candidates outside of Atlanta may be considered for exceptional circumstances and should expect up to 25% travel, along with regular travel to Atlanta to support customer engagement and business needs.
What you will be doing:
- Partner with key stakeholders at The Home Depot to support achievement of annual top-line sales plans on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customer stakeholders and third-party selling partners, serving as a trusted and responsive business partner.
- Collaborate with retail partners and internal teams to develop account strategies and shared business plans that support Moen product success and long-term growth.
- Identify opportunities to expand relationships, grow category performance, and increase product visibility within existing accounts.
- Analyze SKU-level sales performance, inventory trends, category insights, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and support account planning and business decisions.
- Coordinate and support marketing and promotional initiatives that help retailers effectively showcase Moen products.
- Facilitate product line reviews, business reviews, and customer presentations that align customer needs with Moen's product offerings and business objectives.
- Partner with the Sales Director to develop and track annual sales forecasts and communicate key initiatives.
- Support customer discussions and negotiations related to assortment, merchandising, promotions, and other business initiatives that create mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Gather and share insights on market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and retail performance through store visits, sales data, and industry networking.
- Support customer trade shows, including product training, promotional coordination, booth branding guidance, and collaboration on tradeshow planning.
- Serve as a trusted connection between customers and internal teams, sharing insights that help shape future initiatives and enhance the customer experience.
- Apply financial and business acumen to identify opportunities that support profitable growth for both Moen and our retail partners.
- Share ideas for process improvements and collaborative solutions that enhance account support and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or account management, including 2+ years in national account management.
- Experience working with retailers, distributors, or co-op retail channels, with a strong understanding of retail sales processes, customer business planning, and account management.
- Proven ability to build strategic customer relationships, influence business decisions, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience analyzing sales performance, SKU and inventory trends, category performance, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and support account strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to apply marketing, operational, and financial insights to support business planning and profitable growth.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to analyze data and develop customer-facing presentations.
- Ability to travel approximately 10–15% for candidates based in the Atlanta area or up to 25% for remote candidates outside the Atlanta market.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience supporting retail channels and field sales organizations.
- Experience working with The Home Depot or other large national retail accounts.
- Experience partnering with merchandising, category management, or buying organizations.
- Experience supporting product line reviews, promotional planning, and customer business planning.
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $80,000 USD - $116,500 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
