Work Location: Perth Office - Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.
Roster: Monday to Friday
Fortescue are presently looking for an experienced Product Manager for HaulX that will be accountable for delivering measurable customer and business outcomes through the products they own. This role defines the product vision, strategy, business requirements and investment priorities, ensuring every product decision is evidence-based and delivers value. Working across customers, engineering, architecture, operations and leadership, the Product Manager aligns stakeholders around shared outcomes while enabling delivery teams to determine how solutions are designed, built and validated.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the customer and business outcomes for the HaulX product portfolio
- Develop and maintain the product vision, strategy and roadmap aligned to business objectives
- Define clear business requirements, success measures and desired customer outcomes
- Prioritise product investment to maximise customer and business value
- Lead product discovery by understanding customer needs and validating opportunities using data and evidence
- Provide clear product direction and intent to Product Owners and delivery teams
- Partner with Engineering, Architecture and Operations to deliver capabilities that achieve intended outcomes
- Monitor product performance and continuously adapt strategy based on customer feedback and operational insights
- Build strong alignment across customers, technical teams and business stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration
- Champion evidence-based decision-making and continuous product improvement.
- Demonstrated experience managing technology products throughout the product lifecycle
- Proven ability to develop product strategies, roadmaps and business requirements
- Strong experience prioritising product investment and balancing competing priorities
- Ability to use customer insights, operational data and evidence to inform product decisions
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across technical and business functions
- Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen and communication skills
- Experience with enterprise software or hardware-enabled products is highly regarded
- Exposure to mining, autonomous systems, robotics, industrial automation or similarly complex operational environments is desirable
- Experience working within safety-critical or regulated industries is advantageous
- Familiarity with systems engineering and contemporary product development practices is desirable.
