1. ABOUT MACHUZU FINTECH

Machuzu is a cutting-edge Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform integrated with private blockchain technology, advanced asymmetric hardware security, and edge-computed intelligence. Our software addresses complex business workflows to eliminate regional single-point-of-failure vulnerabilities, and deliver absolute transaction and asset lineage transparency for modern enterprises operating across high-density trading corridors.

Our technical architecture is completely built, running, and led by our Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Our core ecosystem integrates Sovereign Trace SCM workflows, universal Ignition SCADA middleware, and JVM-native Deeplearning4j (DL4J) underwriting layers.

We have successfully bypassed the dependency on brittle, non-transparent, and expensive third-party cloud middleware. With a validated infrastructure ready for market dominance, we are now seeking a visionary commercial partner to capture market share, monetise operations, and lead institutional funding rounds.

2. POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a high-energy, execution-focused Managing Director & Commercial Co-Founder. While the CTO owns the technical product and system stability, you will completely own the business side.

You will lead our go-to-market (GTM) execution strategy, construct enterprise sales pipelines from scratch, and scale commercial client acquisitions across critical regional corridors—specifically targeting trade networks spanning Eswatini, South Africa, Mozambique, and the wider Southern African Development Community (SADC) and Southern African Customs Union (SACU) zones.

A primary commercial priority for this role will be orchestrating the expansion and deployment of our targeted SADC Regional Reseller Network, capturing market share among businesses (R2,000,000 to R50,000,000 in annual revenue) that are operationally too large for standard spreadsheets but priced out of rigid legacy tech ecosystems.

3. GROWTH-OPTIMISED COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

To maximise working capital reserves for aggressive platform development, cloudless hosting infrastructure, and support scaling, this position uses a high-upside equity model paired with performance-based net commissions:

• Premium Co-Founder Equity Share: 35% to 45% (Vested over an explicit milestones-based timeline to secure long-term partnership value. Out of 1,000,000 corporate founder shares, this allocates a powerful 350,000 to 450,000 shares directly to you, making you an equal partner in the asset's valuation).

• Performance Net Commission: 10% of Net SaaS Revenue collected from all enterprise clients or channel accounts directly managed or converted. On a standard baseline contract configuration, this matches cash rewards directly to commercial performance while retaining capital inside the business.

• Fundraising Salary Transition: Transition to a market-rate base executive salary plus performance bonuses immediately upon completion of the initial institutional seed round or upon achieving verified corporate monthly recurring revenue (MRR) milestones.

4. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

4.1 Client Acquisition & Commercial Ecosystem Scaling

• Close B2B Contracts: Source, negotiate, and close high-value B2B enterprise agreements with Tier-1 distributors, manufacturing refineries, and logistics firms experiencing friction with slow bank clearing loops, and those that require their equipment to be monitored; and the data from the equipment analysed.

• SADC Channel Expansion: Build, launch, and manage the newly established Machuzu ERP Reseller Network across core SADC cross-border commerce hubs, targeting a structured rollout capped at exactly 10 exclusive regional partners for 2026.

• Executive Pitching: Present Machuzu’s value proposition directly to C-level executives (CEOs, CFOs, COOs).

• Corridor Domination: Target and convert commercial operations moving freight along active regional trade routes (e.g., Ngwenya Border to Matsapha Logistics Hub corridors).

4.2 Strategic Go-To-Market Alignment with the CTO

• Commercial Pricing Architect: Partner with the CTO to design scalable SaaS subscription tiers, partner commercial incentives, and enterprise licensing models.

• Feedback Integration Loop: Translate client feature requests and local field tracking needs into clear, actionable requirements for the development team.

• Unified Messaging: Align complex underlying system features (e.g., three-way match automation, local AI weights) with punchy, value-driven market messaging.

4.3 Capital Raising & Investor Relations

• Pitch Deck Creation: Formulate detailed corporate business plans, data-driven financial projections, and clear investor materials.

• Fundraising Leadership: Identify, pitch, and secure seed capital from angel investors, venture capital networks, and technology grant bodies to establish a scaling runway.

4.4 Organisational Leadership & Startup Operations

• Operational Management: Direct daily legal, financial data compliance, and administrative tasks required to scale the startup entity securely.

• Team Engineering: Recruit, train, and manage future outbound sales, growth marketing, and customer success teams as the platform scales post-funding.

5. CORE COMMERCIAL PROGRAM DATA & PARTNER STATISTICS

The Managing Director will own the execution, packaging, and commercial positioning of the network's key target market parameters:

5.1 Target SME Market Parameters

• Ideal Business Size Range: Capped specifically for companies generating R2,000,000 to R50,000,000 (or local currency equivalents) in annual revenue. These entities are operationally too large for standard Excel/Pastel/Xero workflows, yet too small to bear the high entry overhead costs of SAP or Odoo.

• Value Proposition Strategy: Position Machuzu as the affordable, localised alternative featuring rapid support structures, direct regional tax customisation (SARS VAT/PAYE and local SADC tax tracking fields), and faster, higher-velocity sales closing loops due to absolute price compatibility.

5.2 Reseller Network Commercial Structures

• Implementation Payout Split: 70% of all implementation fees go directly to the channel partner. On a standard baseline contract configuration, this yields an upfront cash flow of R15,000 to R80,000 per closed project allocated straight to the partner.

• Lifetime Recurring Commissions: 20% ongoing monthly recurring commissions allocated to the reseller for the lifetime of the client account. For an SME paying a standard R10,000 monthly subscription, this yields a predictable R2,000 per month recurring payout to the partner for life.

• Territory Integrity Guardrails: Enforcement of strict Exclusive Territories (e.g., locking strategic SADC shipping node assignments to single-partner coverage) to completely eliminate partner saturation and channel conflicts.

• Zero-Barrier Onboarding: No upfront licensing fees (R0.00) are charged to partners; financial exchange only triggers dynamically upon successful contract closure.

• Operational Support Framework: Machuzu retains absolute ownership of the core system development, cloudless hosting matrices, and Level 2 technical engineering support, leaving the sales, regional relationship acquisition, and baseline setup configurations entirely to the channel network.

6. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Proven Enterprise Sales Record: Minimum 5+ years of direct experience sourcing and closing mid-market or enterprise-tier software, complex SaaS, or traditional ERP contracts (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Odoo etc).

• High Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of how structured enterprise software architecture solves real-world logistics and cash-flow bottlenecks; familiarity with distributed private block ledgers and asymmetric hardware tokens is a distinct competitive advantage.

• Founder Mindset: High tolerance for ambiguity, comfortable executing with zero supervision, and capable of delivering commercial results from scratch.

• Master Storyteller & Negotiator: Elite communication skills with a proven ability to distill complex technical capabilities into straightforward corporate commercial value.

• Basic Financial Modeling: Competence in building simple financial spreadsheets, sales forecasts, and operational budgets to present to institutional investors.

7. HOW TO APPLY

If you have a founder mindset and are ready to share directly in the financial success of a scalable FinTech engine from day one, submit your application directly to the executive office:
