As regulations tighten and public awareness rises, Datheos is positioning itself at the forefront of the global movement toward digital sovereignty.

We’re looking for a visionary and hands-on Co-Founder to help shape the future of Datheos. This is a high-impact, equity-only role — ideal for someone who believes in privacy, Web3, and decentralized identity, and wants to build a category-defining startup from the ground up.

🔍 Who We’re Looking For

We’re open to co-founders with the following skill sets:

• Technical Lead (CTO profile): Full-stack or backend-heavy experience, ideally with blockchain (Solidity, Ethereum, IPFS, zk proofs).

Qualifications

Technical Expertise

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior or lead technical role.
• Proficiency in full-stack development (e.g., TypeScript/Node.js, Python, or Go) and modern front-end frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.).
• Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, with experience building or deploying on Ethereum or Layer 2 chains (Polygon, zkSync, etc.).
• Experience with smart contracts (Solidity), decentralized storage (IPFS, Filecoin), and zero-knowledge proofs (zk-SNARKs/zk-STARKs).
• Familiarity with Decentralized Identity (DID) protocols and frameworks (e.g., W3C Verifiable Credentials, SSI models).
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and privacy-preserving authentication methods.

Security & Infrastructure

• Experience designing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Deep knowledge of data privacy, cryptography, and secure key management systems.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, eIDAS, UK Digital Identity & Trust Framework).

Strategic & Leadership

• Strong product thinking with the ability to translate technical vision into product roadmap.
• Previous experience hiring, managing, or scaling engineering teams—even better if you’ve done this in an early-stage startup.
• Ability to collaborate closely with non-technical co-founders, investors, and advisors.
• Open-source contributor or advocate is a strong plus.

Bonus/Preferred Qualifications

• Past experience as a founder or early employee in a high-growth Web3, FinTech, or IdentityTech startup.
• Experience with modular architecture, decentralized messaging protocols, or digital wallets.
• Familiarity with RegTech, compliance APIs, and working with public sector or enterprise partners.

Note: Formal academic degrees are a plus but not required if your experience speaks volumes.

• Help define and lead product and technical development strategy.
• Co-design the go-to-market strategy and commercial model.
• Build and scale the core team post-funding.
• Represent Datheos in investor meetings, partnerships, and accelerators.
• Be the trusted counterpart in shaping the company’s vision and execution.
