About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished Investment Director to join our high-performing team, built on a foundation of reputable investor, recognition, excellence, and shared principles. As a vital member of the Investment Team that is focused on the deployment of the Catalyst Fund, you will spearhead investment initiatives, drive deal sourcing, lead rigorous due diligence, and deliver transformative value creation. Key Responsibilities:

• Deal Sourcing: Proactively identify, assess, and cultivate relationships with actionable investment targets in the energy sector, with a particular focus on distributed power generation.
• Investment Process Management: Oversee all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, evaluating opportunities, conducting due diligence, and coordinating deal execution.
• Capital Raising. Manage all aspects of the project financing cycle, including attracting debt and equity co-financing from the world’s leading financial institutions.
• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with energy sector companies, industry leaders, and key stakeholders to source new opportunities and enhance the firm’s market presence.
• Portfolio Management: Take an ownership approach to support portfolio companies by driving strategic initiatives, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering value-add projects.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive reports, investment memorandums, and presentations to communicate findings including portfolio performance and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of deals and portfolio management activities.
• Thought Leadership: Contribute to the firm’s thought leadership by representing the organization in the investment community and industry events.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in real asset investments, energy sector, investment banking, strategy consulting, Big 4 advisory or a related field.
• Energy Sector Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Ukrainian energy sector with a focus on distributed power generation and an established network of companies, project sponsors and key stakeholders.
• Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with founders, C-level executives, and investors.
• Analytical Skills: Advanced financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and presentation skills.
• Strategic Mindset: Ability to think critically, identify opportunities, and propose actionable strategies for portfolio growth and value creation.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in Ukrainian and English.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable with a passion for working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Values and Ethics: Strong commitment to professional standards, integrity, and corporate responsibility.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
