Job Description
foodpanda is seeking a Manager, Logistics Planning and Admin to serve as the operational backbone of our rider supply chain infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless management of our stock backend, maintaining high-precision inventory accuracy across regions, and orchestrating financial approvals through SAP Ariba.
You will sit at the intersection of Operations, Finance, and Procurement, shaping how we manage product lifecycles, vendor relationships, and warehouse efficiency. The objective is to create a scalable, data-driven logistics framework that ensures our supply hubs are always optimized and our digital storefront is perfectly aligned with physical stock. The individual will also be working with the local logistics team on budgeting, planning and optimisation related topics.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the regional logistics team on specific projects
- Provide assistance to the local logistics director on deep dive into different metrics
- Overtime build solid understanding of the logistics domain and take optimisation initiatives with the support of regional team
- Local stakeholder engagement and management
- Oversee the end-to-end inventory backend ecosystem, ensuring data security through robust access protocols and maintaining a high-fidelity alignment between digital catalogs and physical inventory
- Lead cross-functional coordination with regional, Finance and Procurement teams to ensure logistical requirements are met timely and accurately according to forecasted demand
- Architect comprehensive inventory movement plans and vendor delivery schedules to ensure balanced stock distribution and zero operational downtime across all regions
- Utilize historical city-level consumption trends to project future demand for core assets, ensuring high availability of high-turnover items while minimizing obsolescence
- Champion the accuracy of the master Inventory Tracker by implementing audit mechanisms to identify and rectify data entry discrepancies, ensuring 100% system hygiene
- Drive cost-effectiveness by analyzing price fluctuations and negotiating competitive quotations with the Procurement team to maximize budget efficiency and ROI
- Govern the SAP Ariba workflow to ensure all Procurement Requests (PRs) are validated against market benchmarks and processed for timely executive approval
- Manage the strategic lifecycle of supply hub agreements, monitoring rental increments and expirations to ensure uninterrupted facility operations across the network
- Lead the lease renewal process in coordination with internal stakeholders to maintain a legally compliant and organized regional contract repository
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Administration, or E-commerce Operations
- Hands-on proficiency with Shopify Backend and SAP Ariba (or similar ERP/Procurement tools)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex trackers in Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience in the gig economy, Q-commerce, or fast-paced logistics environments is highly preferred
