An established international technology business is building and scaling a new blockchain and digital-asset capability within a secure engineering environment.

They are looking for a hands-on Blockchain Tech Lead who can act as the senior technical reference across architecture, engineering delivery and complex blockchain integrations.

This is not primarily a people-management role. You will guide technical decisions, mentor engineers and coordinate delivery across software, security, product and platform teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of blockchain and digital-asset integrations.
• Own and influence architecture and implementation decisions.
• Support developers on complex technical and troubleshooting issues.
• Coordinate work across backend, application, security and platform teams.
• Evaluate RPC providers, nodes, indexers, relayers and external APIs.
• Improve standards across code quality, testing, documentation and technical reviews.
• Help assess new protocols, technologies and architectural approaches.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and external technical partners.

Experience required

• Strong professional software engineering background.
• Several years of hands-on blockchain development.
• Experience delivering production blockchain products or integrations.
• Strong understanding of UTXO and account-based blockchain models.
• Experience with ecosystems such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Polygon or similar.
• Knowledge of wallet architecture, transaction signing and key management.
• Understanding of HD-wallet standards such as BIP-32, BIP-39 and BIP-44.
• Familiarity with cryptographic signing mechanisms such as ECDSA or EdDSA.
• Experience with blockchain infrastructure, including RPC nodes, APIs and indexing services.
• Strong software architecture and systems-integration capability.
• Evidence of technical leadership, mentoring or cross-team influence.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Valuable additional experience

• Multi-chain wallets or digital-asset platforms.
• MPC wallets, embedded wallets or secure signing systems.
• Hardware-backed security, secure elements or trusted execution environments.
• Rust, Solidity, TypeScript, JavaScript or C++.
• WalletConnect, Web3.js, ethers.js, BitcoinJS or similar.
• Account abstraction, staking, DeFi or cross-chain systems.
• Regulated or security-sensitive engineering environments.

Working model

The role can be based in the Paris area or South-West France.

2/3 days onsite is required due to the secure development environment.
