What we are looking for:
As Product Manager for Asseto, you own one product area of the platform, for example Asset Servicing, Markets, Settlement, or Buy Side, and report directly to the Chief Product Officer. You run that area end to end, from vision and strategy through functional design to delivery and QA.
The focus is on how things work, not only what to build: you define the functional architecture of new capabilities. Asseto is API first, blockchain agnostic, modular, and configurable, so defining a capability means composing and configuring behaviour within the platform, which requires strong functional thinking.
What you will do:
- Shape the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your area, together with the CPO.
- Master the domain, the business cases, and the existing product, and stay on top of the market: competitors, clients, opportunities, and regulation.
- Define the functional architecture of new capabilities: work out the functional use cases end to end, then turn them into PRDs, solution designs, and user stories.
- Own and prioritise the backlog, and drive delivery end to end with engineering and design.
- Validate and QA delivered features before they ship.
- Run discovery with design partners and institutional clients, and turn their feedback into product decisions.
- Keep the functional documentation for your area clear and current.
- Support business development as the product expert: proposals, client requirements, demos, and pre sales.
- Track outcomes and iterate.
You should bring:
- A background in the financial sector and capital markets, with a solid understanding of financial instruments and the trade and asset lifecycle (issuance, registry, corporate actions, settlement, secondary trading).
- Blockchain and DLT literacy: a working understanding of digital assets, smart contracts, and on chain versus off chain design, with the technical fluency to reason about them.
- Technical fluency to work closely with engineering: comfortable with APIs, data models, and databases, and willing to get into the basics. This is not a technical PM or engineering role, but you can hold your own with the API and backend teams.
- Strong functional architecture skills and abstract, logical thinking: you can define how capabilities work and compose within a modular platform.
- Product management craft across the full spectrum, from strategy to execution, including PRDs, solution designs, and user stories.
- Autonomy and proactivity: you can own an area and move it forward with limited supervision.
- Experience using product management tools (Jira, etc) and AI to accelerate your work.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Solid product management experience, typically five or more years, ideally in a technically demanding B2B environment.
Will be a plus:
- Hands on experience with blockchain, DLT, or tokenization projects.
- Experience in institutional or B2B installed software, where clients integrate via APIs.
- Experience in dynamic, agile environments.
- Working Spanish.
