About the Role

We are looking for one or more exceptional Intraday Power Traders who are driven by performance, ownership, and continuous improvement.

As one of our earliest team members, you won't simply execute someone else's strategy, you'll play an instrumental role in building the trading desk from the ground up.

You will be trusted with significant responsibility and have the opportunity to influence virtually every aspect of the business.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Execute and optimize proprietary trading positions across the European power markets.
• Develop, test, and continuously refine profitable trading strategies.
• Analyze market dynamics, trading performance, and emerging opportunities to strengthen our competitive edge.
• Collaborate with the founders to build scalable trading systems, operational processes, and risk management frameworks.
• Help build what we believe can become Aarhus' most exciting and high-performing energy trading company.
• Contribute to the strategic decisions that will shape the future of the business.
• Help establish and protect a culture built around ownership, integrity, excellence, and continuous learning.
• Participate in attracting, interviewing, and mentoring future traders as the company grows.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for exceptional people—not simply experienced traders.

You are someone who thrives in a high-performance environment and wants to build something that truly matters.

Ideally, you have:

• 3+ years of experience as an Intraday Energy Trader (preferably within the Nordic and/or German power markets).
• A proven track record of generating profitable P&L (this is essential).
• Strong analytical skills combined with disciplined risk management.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine desire to build rather than simply be employed.
• A relentless drive to improve and compete with the very best.
• High personal integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
• A competitive mindset balanced by humility and excellent teamwork skills.
