You will play a key role in gathering requirements, analyzing existing data pipelines and warehouse structures, documenting transformation logic, validating data solutions, and troubleshooting data quality or pipeline issues.

What You’ll Do

- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and detailed specifications for data engineering teams
- Analyze existing data pipelines, Snowflake tables, datasets, and transformation logic to understand how data moves through the organization
- Use SQL to investigate data, validate requirements, troubleshoot issues, and support testing efforts
- Define and document business metrics, KPIs, data definitions, mapping specifications, and transformation logic
- Work closely with data engineers to ensure delivered solutions align with documented business and technical requirements
- Perform data testing and validation before solutions are released to business users
- Investigate data quality issues, pipeline interruptions, data refresh failures, and reporting inconsistencies
- Identify opportunities to improve existing data pipelines, processes, and documentation
- Support data governance initiatives by maintaining clear documentation and promoting data quality best practices
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, data engineering, business intelligence, or a related technical data role
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries, analyze tables, investigate data issues, and validate data solutions
- Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data transformations, and modern data pipelines
- Exposure to Coalesce.io, dbt, or comparable data transformation frameworks
- Experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders and translating business needs into technical specifications
- Hands-on experience with data testing, validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Understanding of data modeling concepts, including fact tables, dimension tables, and star schemas
- Experience with BI and analytics platforms such as Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, data definitions, or data catalogs
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams
Why Join Us?
- Work with a modern data stack that includes Snowflake, Coalesce.io, Sigma, and Power BI
- Partner directly with business stakeholders and data engineering teams on high-impact initiatives
- Gain exposure across analytics, data engineering, data quality, and data governance
- Solve complex data problems and help improve the reliability and usability of data across the organization
- Take on a highly visible role with meaningful impact on how data is used to drive business decisions
If you’re passionate about SQL, data investigation, modern data platforms, and bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, we’d love to hear from you.
