Project Overview:
Fab 62 is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility for Intel Corporation, located at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. As part of this work, the M&T team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete and finish-out a leading-edge chipmaking facility - a highly demanding environment where precision, cleanliness, schedule certainty, and coordination across thousands of craft and professional personnel are essential to success. The project supports the continued expansion of domestic semiconductor manufacturing capacity, contributing to a more resilient technology supply chain while creating significant opportunity for the local Arizona workforce. Joining the Fab 62 team means contributing directly to one of the most strategically important construction efforts in the United States and helping deliver the infrastructure behind the next generation of microelectronics."
Job Summary:
In this role, you will plan, develop, design, and coordinate architectural work on large complex projects with unique requirements. You will prepare work plans, prepare 3D models, design documents, conduct model reviews coordinating with other disciplies, and assist with solutions addressing project requirements. #LI-ME1
Major Responsibilities:
- Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of architectural work to include the preparation of layouts, details, and drawings using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications
- Analyzes problems with conflicting design requirements and provides possible solutions
- Analyzes and reports on difficult coordination requirements
- Prepares or assists in the preparation of cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and change orders
- Plans, coordinates, or assists in preparing specifications.
- Coordinates architectural efforts in assigned areas with engineering disciplines, the client, vendors, contractors, construction and other functional groups
- Prepares procurement and subcontract requisition documents and performs associated technical bid evaluations with award recommendations
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of architectural design, production techniques, building specifications, construction documents, and project delivery methods
- Knowledge of building codes, current industry and regulatory standards and criteria pertinent to architectural work
- Understands and performs the standard architectural work planning, scheduling, and job hour estimating process
- Experience in monitoring and ensuring compliance with project budget, quantities, and quality requirements
- Knowledge and experience using BIM for interdisciplinary coordination and familiarity with Autodesk Design suite (e.g., Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) and similar applications
- Proven ability to work within a diverse multicultural environment.
