Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Location: Knoxville, TN (hybrid)

Compensation: $80,000–$100,000 plus bonus

We're partnering with an established and growing organization seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join its Data & Analytics team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building scalable data solutions, designing enterprise reporting platforms, and helping drive data-driven decision making across the business.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server technologies.
• Build and optimize SQL Server data warehouses utilizing dimensional modeling and star schema design.
• Develop Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and SSRS reports for business users.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, flat files, and cloud platforms.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver scalable analytics solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and help establish BI development standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, or Analytics development experience.
• Advanced SQL Server and T-SQL skills.
• Strong experience with SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise data warehouses.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data integration best practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, OneLake, or Purview.
• SSAS experience.
• Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience.
• Agile or Kanban experience.
