About The Role

As our Analytics Engineer, you will build data solutions that help teams across the Club do their best work. You will make data trusted, clear and ready to use. Your work will help commercial, digital and operational teams make better decisions.

You Will

  • Build, test and maintain cloud-based ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS and Snowflake, using Python, R and SQL to bring in data from APIs, web sources and internal systems
  • Design and maintain analytics models (such as SQL or dbt-style modelling) that capture business logic and define trusted metrics
  • Partner with stakeholders and analysts to frame questions and deliver clear outputs, including dashboards and reports
  • Maintain documentation, version control (Git) and data governance practices, and automate workflows where it helps
  • Work with teams across the Club on their data challenges, share safe data practices, and explore new technologies including AI

What you will bring

  • Experience in data engineering, analytics engineering or a similar technical role. This may come from study, work, or self-taught practice
  • Strong SQL skills, plus experience with R and/or Python
  • Experience building data pipelines, working with relational databases, and using cloud platforms such as AWS or Snowflake
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas in clear, simple ways
  • Current or willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
