About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that power enterprise analytics platforms. In this role, you'll work with modern cloud technologies including Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and AWS, building reliable, production-ready data solutions while collaborating closely with analytics engineers, BI teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, and AWS.
- Build and optimize ELT/ETL processes that ingest data from multiple sources, including APIs, databases, S3, Splunk, and SFTP.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to ensure reliable production pipelines.
- Optimize SQL queries and pipeline performance for scalability and efficiency.
- Maintain documentation for data architecture, lineage, and dependencies.
- Troubleshoot production issues, failed workflows, and data pipeline failures.
- Collaborate with Analytics Engineers and BI teams on data modeling and schema design.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers on best practices.
- Implement solutions that comply with data governance and PII protection standards.
- Support enhancements, new features, and ad hoc data requests.
Must-Have Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.
- 3+ years working with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
- 3+ years using workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
- 2+ years of experience with dbt (or an equivalent data transformation framework).
- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and window functions.
- Strong Python programming skills for data engineering.
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Experience implementing data quality validation and monitoring.
- Experience using Git and CI/CD workflows.
- Professional English communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience processing geospatial (GIS) data.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and relational databases.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Master's degree is a plus.
