Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Data Architect who will be responsible for designing, governing, and evolving our enterprise cloud data architecture for OTT, CRM, ISP, and analytics platforms. The successful candidate will define scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures while working closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, analytics teams, and software development teams to deliver enterprise-wide data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain the enterprise data architecture, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Define and implement scalable cloud-native data warehouse and data lake architectures.
- Establish enterprise data integration standards across internal and external systems.
- Design data ingestion, ETL/ELT, streaming, and batch processing architectures.
- Define data governance, metadata management, master data management (MDM), and data quality frameworks.
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, lineage, and traceability across all data platforms.
- Define architecture standards for APIs, data services, and real-time data integrations.
- Design secure data architectures in compliance with GDPR and regional data privacy regulations.
- Define enterprise data security, encryption, masking, retention, and access control strategies.
- Optimize data storage, partitioning, indexing, and query performance for large-scale analytical workloads.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies, data platforms, and architectural best practices.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to define development standards, reusable frameworks, and implementation guidelines.
- Support enterprise analytics, AI/ML, reporting, and self-service BI initiatives through scalable architecture design.
- Create and maintain enterprise architecture documentation, data models, and technical standards.
- Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, and mentorship to engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BE) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Enterprise Data Architecture.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Data Architecture or Solution Architecture roles.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Data Architecture methodologies.
- Experience in designing Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures.
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling (Kimball), Data Vault, and normalized data modeling techniques.
- Excellent SQL knowledge and performance optimization experience.
- Experience with Cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, or AWS.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT architecture and modern data integration patterns.
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Databricks, or similar distributed processing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Experience with API-based integrations, event-driven architectures, and streaming platforms (Kafka, Pub/Sub, etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge of GDPR, data privacy, and enterprise security standards.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Airflow, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native services is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English.
