Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in the IT industry, in software development team, primarily in a business analysis role
• Hands-on experience in data engineering technologies (SQL, Python, RESTful APIs)
• Hands-on experience in database administration and data modelling
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field
• Experience in Cloud Technologies preferred Hard Skills:
• Application of data technologies (Query skills, SQL, Linux, Shell Scripting, Relational databases, data models/diagrams, API Driven development, Microservices, CICD, Cloud technologies - Google Cloud Platform, AWS and/or Azure framework)
• Understanding of Data Mining, Data Modeling, and Data Provisioning (acquisition, transformation and sharing)
• Nice to have: programming skills – working knowledge on how to read code (Python, Java, Git, other scripting) Soft Skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving skills, ability to manage low complexity projects on their own
• Independent learning agility, with the ability to pull together various knowledge references and piece together answers and solutions
