Data Warehouse Analyst:
This role partners with end users to understand business requirements and designs, builds, and implements decision support solutions that meet their needs. The position owns data warehouse infrastructure — including ETL programs, views, and table structures — and provides Level III support for business intelligence and decision support tools, while contributing to project teams focused on creating and maintaining data reports and executing prioritized work requests.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Validate all data warehouse feeds through automated or manual procedures.
- Design and maintain technical documentation, including data catalogs, structural diagrams, and end-user warehouse assets.
- Provide Level III end-user support and guidance for business intelligence and decision support tools.
- Document data structures, views, and reports.
- Partner with business and management stakeholders to deliver meaningful, efficient, and accurate reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience with one or more BI platforms, such as Snowflake, Informatica, Power BI, Tableau, and/or Cognos.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with enterprise ETL tools, such as Informatica.
- Working knowledge of Snowflake and dimensional data modeling (Star Schema).
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience documenting data models, reports, technical specifications, and business requirements.
- Ability to design, develop, validate, and support data warehouse solutions, ETL processes, and reporting assets.
- Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain relevant professional certifications or industry-specific licenses, as applicable.
