Data Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• End-to-end build-out of a data warehouse for COO functions, from data modeling and pipeline development to integration and delivery of data products.

• Integrate key data signals across the customer journey, including portal interactions, ticketing, telephony, CRM, ERP, and product telemetry.

• Develop unified and reproducible KPI logic for core operational metrics such as NPS, first contact resolution, and time to resolution.

• Design and implement user-centric dashboards and reports for support, service delivery, and IT, focused on steering and decision-making.

• Create clean data structures to support AI, automation, and management reporting.

• Utilize LLMs and AI-driven analytics for pattern detection and natural-language access to operational datasets.

What You'll Need

• Several years of hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data intelligence, focusing on scalable data models and ETL/ELT processes.

• An excellent academic background, preferably in computer science, data science, information systems, statistics, or a comparable field.

• Practical experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, or dbt in a production environment.

• Strong BI and data visualization skills with experience developing dashboards in tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Solid understanding of core COO KPIs and the ability to derive consistent, cross-country comparable operational metrics from diverse data sources.

• Experience integrating CRM, ERP, and ITSM systems, and confidence using AI-driven analytics for pattern and anomaly detection.
