The Software Developer – RCS Applications plays a critical role in strengthening the connection between field operations and global R&D by ensuring RCS-based automation solutions continuously evolve based on real customer needs. The role focuses on analysing field performance, resolving technical issues, and implementing software improvements to enhance system reliability, product quality, and operational outcomes. This position works closely with site teams, customers, and global engineering functions to accelerate innovation, improve deployment success, and embed automation expertise within the regional organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety compliance and alignment with site and regulatory requirements
  • Provide expert support in RCS applications and automation systems
  • Support deployments, commissioning, and field trials
  • Analyse field issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Develop and implement software fixes and improvements
  • Integrate automation solutions with customer systems
  • Enable technology transfer and support local teams
  • Support advanced RCS functions and integrations
  • Translate field insights into product and R&D improvements

Key Competencies:

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Automation or related field; experience in automation systems; strong problem-solving skills (essential)
  • Experience with RCS, autonomous mining systems, and industrial integration (desirable)
