We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a technology team responsible for maintaining the reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems and applications. You will work across infrastructure and operations, contributing to automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Work Model: Hybrid – 2 days per week on-site
Location: Porto
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, support, and maintain critical applications and infrastructure.
- Automate operational tasks and processes through scripting.
- Troubleshoot incidents across infrastructure, middleware, and database environments.
- Manage scheduling, monitoring, backup, and recovery activities.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to improve platform reliability.
- Contribute to the adoption of DevOps and automation practices.
Requirements:
- Experience in SRE, Systems Administration, Infrastructure, or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
- Experience with Control-M or other enterprise scheduling tools.
- Scripting experience with Shell, Python, and/or PowerShell.
- Experience with JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, or IIS.
- Knowledge of Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, and/or MySQL, including SQL fundamentals.
- Experience with infrastructure backup solutions.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix or Grafana.
- Knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, Kerberos, Firewalls, and Reverse Proxies.
- Experience with container-based infrastructures.
- DevOps mindset.
- English level B2
