Install, configure, and maintain Linux systems, including servers, virtual machines

Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize system resources and ensure high availability.

Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and data encryption and applying OS related security patches.

Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (Bash, Python) to streamline processes and reduce manual intervention.

Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.

Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance.

Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and processes for internal knowledge sharing.

Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience in administering Linux systems(e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, Debian).

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python for automation.

Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies, including DNS, DHCP, and network protocols.

Understanding of security principles and best practices for Linux systems.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve system issues.

Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
