- Utilize Zabbix or similar monitoring tools to ensure system health and use scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Perl) to improve operational workflows.
- Ensure timely resolution of high-severity incidents, including professional communication, reporting, and tracking of follow-up actions.
- Follow and create technical documentation for processes and standards while providing redundancy and cross-training for other members of the systems administration team.
- Participate in an on-call escalation support rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage for critical infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years managing an enterprise Linux environment and supporting general IT operations.
- Expert knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) versions 6, 7, and 8.
- Proven experience with Windows Server OS, patching protocols, and VMware/ESXi environments.
- Hands-on experience with Dell PowerEdge servers and Dell EMC storage solutions.
- Ability to read, understand, and write Linux scripts to automate manual tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills with a proven ability to prioritize and organize effectively in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
