We are seeking a DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to design, automate, deploy, and support cloud-based infrastructure and applications. This role combines software engineering, cloud operations, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and platform reliability to drive operational excellence and accelerate software delivery.
The ideal candidate possesses strong AWS, Kubernetes, automation, and programming expertise, along with a passion for continuous improvement, reliability engineering, and DevOps culture.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Demonstrate technical leadership within engineering teams.
- Provide guidance on DevOps, cloud infrastructure, automation, and operational best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
DevOps & CI/CD Engineering
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate software build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Improve software delivery speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Support GitOps and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives.
- Continuously enhance deployment automation and release management practices.
Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Design, deploy, and administer cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Manage scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure environments.
- Support cloud modernization and optimization initiatives.
- Implement infrastructure monitoring and operational controls.
- Ensure platform availability, reliability, and performance.
Containerization & Orchestration
- Develop and support containerized applications using:
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Manage container orchestration platforms and clusters.
- Optimize workload performance and scalability.
- Implement container security and operational best practices.
Infrastructure Automation
- Develop infrastructure automation solutions using:
- Terraform
- AWS CloudFormation
- Scripting Frameworks
- Automate provisioning, configuration management, and operational processes.
- Reduce manual effort through repeatable automation patterns.
- Support self-service infrastructure capabilities where appropriate.
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- Improve reliability and availability of production systems.
- Design monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Analyze incidents and implement preventive improvements.
- Drive operational excellence and platform resiliency.
- Support capacity planning and performance tuning activities.
Software Engineering & Automation
- Develop automation tools and platform solutions using:
- Python
- JavaScript
- Shell Scripting
- Build reusable and modular software components.
- Apply software engineering best practices and coding standards.
- Ensure code quality through testing and peer reviews.
Monitoring & Performance Management
- Monitor infrastructure and application health.
- Analyze system performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Implement proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and operational issues.
- Maintain service-level objectives and operational metrics.
Security & Compliance
- Implement security best practices across cloud and infrastructure environments.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Software Engineering
- Related Technical Discipline
OR
- Equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Certifications
- AWS Certification
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Docker Certification
- Cloud Architecture Certifications
Experience
Required
- 3+ years of professional IT experience.
- Experience supporting cloud-native environments and DevOps practices.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
