What You'll Do:We are seeking a Junior Developer with 3–5 years of experience to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of core service applications within the Compliance Technology landscape. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL and Unix Shell Scripting skills, with experience working across Unix, Linux, and Windows environments. Exposure to AML/KYC systems and financial crime compliance solutions will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and support core service applications and batch processing solutions. Design, write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts. Develop and maintain Unix Shell Scripts for automation, data processing, monitoring, and operational support. Support application deployment, configuration, and maintenance across Unix, Linux, and Windows environments. Analyze and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting activities. Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and technical teams to deliver project requirements. Support system integration activities and data exchange processes between applications. Participate in testing activities, including SIT, UAT, and production deployment support. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, support guides, and operational procedures. Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and development best practices.Required Skills: 3–5 years of experience in application development and support. Strong proficiency in SQL, including query development, optimization, and database troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with Unix Shell Scripting. Good knowledge of Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems. Experience in application support, incident management, and root cause analysis. Understanding of database concepts, data processing, and system integration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Good verbal and written communication skills.Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with financial crime compliance platforms such as Detica NetReveal, NICE Actimize, Microsoft Continuity, or Tookitaki. Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes and regulations. Experience with Java development and application integration. Exposure to banking, compliance, or financial services environments. Familiarity with batch processing frameworks and data integration workflows. Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
