DevOps Engineer

What You'll Be Doing

• Set up and maintain environments, software, and client workstations
• Write scripts that make manual work disappear (Python, PowerShell, and friends)
• Manage JIRA, Git, SVN, and the rest of the toolchain
• Own software versioning and build management
• Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the development and QA teams

What you bring to the table:

This role is for engineers who own the pipeline that everyone else depends on. You'll fit right in if you:

• Have 3+ years of hands-on IT/DevOps experience across Windows and Linux
• Have run Jenkins on-prem (not in the cloud)
• Know your way around integration, deployment, and configuration-management tools
• Bring relevant technical training
• Are comfortable working in technical English

Bonus Points If You Bring

• Experience with Jira and Git
• A track record of building automation in Python
• Experience working in a defense company
• Familiarity with geographic information systems (GIS)
