Implementation Engineer

Implementation Engineer – Linux, Cloud & MySQL (Experience: 3 to 6 Years)

Responsible for end-to-end deployment, configuration, and validation of application platforms in production and operator environments. The role involves installation, environment setup, integration with external systems, and troubleshooting across Linux servers, MySQL databases, and cloud-based infrastructures. The position requires strong technical expertise, cross-team coordination, and a proactive approach to ensure smooth and reliable implementations.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and deploy application components on Linux-based systems.

Set up and manage MySQL databases, including schema creation, script execution, and optimization.

Integrate applications with external systems and APIs to enable seamless functionality.

Conduct functional, pre-UAT, UAT, and sanity testing to validate deployments.

Perform root cause analysis, log monitoring, and performance tuning to ensure system stability.

Prepare and maintain comprehensive deployment, configuration, and change management documentation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth handovers, environment readiness, and successful go-lives.

Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) administration, service management, and shell scripting.

Good knowledge of MySQL database management, including backup/restore, schema design, and query optimization.

Familiarity with application servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, and WebLogic, along with API integrations (REST/SOAP).

Experience in identifying and fixing application vulnerabilities related to Tomcat, Log4j, and JDK.

Proficient in using network debugging and analysis tools such as tcpdump, Wireshark, and netstat for troubleshooting.

Solid understanding of networking concepts – IP configuration, SSH, firewalls, DNS, and routing.

Experience with scripting and automation using Bash or Python.

Working knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS) and containerized environments (Kubernetes / k8s).

Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Signoz, Grafana, and Prometheus.

Understanding of Kafka for event streaming and message queuing.

Excellent communication and coordination skills for interaction with internal and customer teams.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.

Qualification

B.E / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
